APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF ENGINEERING NAVAL SPECIALIST (CENS) - JANUARY 2002 to JULY 2004
Duties includes:
Leading a group of Technicians for ships and workshops equipment/machineries
oriention and training programs.
Training of new ship crew for shipboard engineering knowledge in fire fighting
and damage controls (fire and flooding onboard ships), hotwork and confine space
entry procedures accordance to fleet safety directives.
Safety members in the safety supervisory team; bi-monthly discussion on safety
issues and resolves safety hazards onboard ships and buildings.
Plan preventive maintance (PMS) for ships machineries equipment and safety equipment
includes fire fighting tools and pumps.
APPOINTMENT OF ENGINEERING NAVAL SPECIALIST (ENS) - JULY 1998 to JANUARY 2002
Duties includes:
Daily maintenance of marine diesel engines performance, rectify defects on machineries
in the event of breakdown.
Maintain engineering equipments accordance to Plan Maintenance Schedule.
Maintenance of fire fighting/testing of fire fighting equipment weekly.
SECONDARY APPOINTMENT OF BUILDING FIRE WARDEN
Liaises with contactors for yearly fire fighting equipment maintenance.
Brief building occupants for fire standing order/and evacuation procedures in
the event of fire outbreak.
Plan fire fighting teams members for their roles/responsibility during the fire
drills.
Discussion with members for fire fighting for any updates.
SECONDARY APPOINTMENT OF SPORT CO-ORDINATOR
