John Wheeler of England came to U.S. in service for England in Rev. War, 3 sons came also, 2 went back to England with the father , Samuel stayed in U.S.
Samuel b. England 1758 age 19 when he came to this county, m. 1779 Elizabeth Daniels of Livingston Manor had children: William, Peter, Nancy, Samuel and Sally. Settled in Greene, NY 1794, had: Harry Jeanette, Margaret and Ephraim. Samuel was a Rev. War soldier, NY Reg. Died May 8, 1808, wife Elizabeth died Feb.2, 1808, both buried in Brisbon Cemetery, Chenango County, NY.
