Amasa born in log cabin on Upper Front Street, Sept. 23, 1788, died July 20, 1867.He has gravestones in *Nimmonsburg Cemetery and Spring Forest Cemetery.
*Cemeteries no longer in existance, had burials removed to Spring Forest Cemetery in Binghamton
