Oliver Harper late of Windsor left minor childre under the age of 21; Hamilton, George, Ruth Marie, Charles S., John M. and Betsey. John Doubleday of Windsor was appointed guardian July 9, 1824 for selling land. Phena Harper was appointed guardian of 5 younger children July 9, 1824. Two older children chose her as their guardian Aug. 14, 1824.

Robert Harper born about 1731 in Ireland came to NYC 1761, Prof. Of Math. at Columbia University, Cont. Congress 1776-1777, came to Broome County 1795 where he owned land since 1788.
