Hi and welcome to Yatris home page!Yatris (currently version 2.4) is one of the many Tetris clones around, wholly programmed with Python and therefore (hopfully) portable to really a lot of different architectures and operating systems. As for now, though, this game has been tested on Linux only, so it is possible that you will experience problems on a different OS. Should it happen, please report the problem to me giving as many details as you can by sending an e-mail to [email protected]
Yatris is distributed under the terms on GNU GPL 2.0 licence, a detailed description of which you can find on a lot of Internet sites. To sum up, GPL allows anyone to copy, use, modify and distribute a program, provided that the original author(s) is mentioned and that the source code is made available.
Yatris is a highly customizable game, so check the download section not only for the game itself but also for add-ons such as new grafics and piece sets. An explanation of how to customize the game is provided in the documentation section, which is also available for download.
