44 Jaguar XJS V12

When the car first appeared, it had an automatic gearbox but now sports an ex-Peter Blank manual box, so Andrew has had to get used to an extra pedal.  Andrew won the series 1998/1999 - by just 2 points or half a bonnet length from the writer!  A deserving champion who expresses his absolute enjoyment after each race by leaping out of the car and yelling "yeeeeeha!!!," at the top of his voice...

STARTED RACING IN 1997  He had always wanted to try car racing (before he got too old) though it appears to him that you can never get too old for racing...  Andrew stepped out of the silver Jaguar after his first race grinning from ear to ear - and the grin still hasn't faded...

Andrew very soon settled down to some respectable lap times.  By the end of the 1997/98 season he was getting amongst the faster groups and in his second season he deservedly won the series.
