30 TVR 3000M 1972
Category 1 - standard, TVR 3000M.
This is very much a contemporary of my own Marcos of the same age. Power is by a Ford 3 litre V6, in a space frame chassis and clothed in a fibreglass body.
The car is one of 654 "M" series cars. This car has had a staggering 14 owners and covered 200,000 miles before being imported to NZ in 1988. Rod drives it rather than trailers it to all events and epitomises the race on Sunday, work on Monday brigade.

It is the likes of Rod that the series is aiming to cater for. Road registered and perfectly usable on the road, and no bottomless pit of money to spend on a hobby. Like most cars of this age, the TVR needs a fair bit of looking after!
