Sonic The Hedghog: Hidden Adgenda

Chapter 2:  Mirror Image

	Sonic slowed down as he reached the tower just long enough 
to see where the entrance was.  He saw an egg shaped guard robot
carring a blaster.  "Piece of cake,"  He thought to himself.  He 
then rushed up to guard slowing just enough to kick the gun from 
it's hand.  Soinc quickly rolled into a buzsaw and dived at the
guard cutting in two.  He jumped back as the remains blew up and
a small blue bird flew from the shell.  Pausing briefly to admire 
his efforts Sonic then rushed inside.  Inside was a long corridor
after running a few secends he reached the end.  "Whoa!" Inside 
seemed full of missles all smoking as if ready to launch.  Just 
then an electronic voice spoke. "Attention, attention T-Minus 4
minuetes till launch." "All non essential personal clear the 
launch pad!"  "Oh great," Said Sonic looking franticly about.
"Whatever those things are their about to launch, do I have time 
to stop them?"

	Sonic looked around trying to think what he could to to
stop the launch.  He then noticed a window with flashing lights.
"BINGO!"  "That must be the control room I just dash over and 
stop the launch from there."  He started to run but then he 
noticed a cloked figure standing not too far away from him.  
"Huh?" "Who are, never mind just don't get my way OK."  The 
figure spoke up.  "Sorry but I'me afraid I have to be your way."
"Oh really!" "Well that's ok I can always go around you, besides
I don't have time play around."  "See Ya!"  With that he took 
off at top speed but as he did he was the figure was keeping pace 
with him perfectly.  Sonic stoped as did the figure. "Hey!?"
"Whats going on here, how can you be as fast as me?"  The figure 
spoke, "I'm glad you asked but you may be surprised by the answer.

	The figure reache out with a gloved hand grabbed his 
robe and threw it off. "What the?" Gasped Sonic.  Underneith 
was a Hedgehog he looked similar to Sonic but quills were a 
brighter blue and had dark streeks in them.  He had on a green 
vest small instrument poked out of the pockets.  He had on his
head what looked like a pair of googles with thick strap and one 
of the lenses had a hinge with a smaller lens like a magnifier.
He had red sneakers with a black raised stripe that went from 
the toe to the heel.  He stared at Sonic with a strang grin on 
his face, like he was enjoying Sonic's moment of surprise.

	Sonis thoug still stunned managed to finally speak up
again.  "Ok, but that still doesn't tell me who you are." 
The other hedghog snicked and then spoke.  "Well, if you must 
know my name is Streekz."  "As for your next question 'what am
I doing here' I just put the finishing touches on the rockets."
"Finishing touches....wait a minuete!"  "Are you saying you built
these things!?"  "Yes I did."  Sonic quickly looked around him
trying to count all the rockets.  "But this place is run by 
Eggman why would someone build rockets for him, what do they do?"
Streekz looked up as he spoke.  "The Doctor has been trying to
create a kind of war head that can not only level cities but
turn any survivors into robot slaves."  "So I thought I'd lend a
hand."  

	"T-minus 3 minuets till launch"  Sonic turned to look at 
the control room.  "Man I don't have the time we'll finish intros
later, gottat motor."  Sonic dashed off but Streekz followed 
closely.  Sonic increased his speed but Streekz kept up easily.
Fustrated Sonic turned and growled "AArrgghh, that does it now 
your gonna get."  "Eh," Said Streekz, "You wanna fight me?" 
"You got it!" "Then lets begin."  Sonic jumped and attacked
Streekz but he dodged it easily.  Streekz them bounced off one 
of the missles and headbutted Sonic right in his stoamach.  
Sonic realed and tried to get back to catch his breath but Streekz
ran right up stoping right in midair twriling around landing a
kick right to his face.  Sonic fell back stunned but rolled till
he got to his feet.  Streekz charged at full speed smileing as
if he knew he was going to win.  But them Sonic suddenly rolled 
to a spin dash, Streekz swirved to win but then Sonic accelerated
right into his side.  Streekz tried to land a punch but Sonic 
dissapeared,  before he knew it he felt a sudden strike to his 
back. He couldn't beleive it Sonic landed a kick with both feet
to his back sending him flying.

	"T-minus 2 minuets till launch." Sonic stood up smiling
at Strekz who was on his knee rubbing his sore back.  Sonic spoke 
first. "If that's all you got you better quit I won't stop till I
stop those missles." "You fool!" Streekz got up and began to grin.
"I must admit you did surprise me but I can't let you stop those 
missles after I went through all that trouble."  "Kissing up to 
that fat fool and putting up with these second rate facilities."
"Huh?" Said Sonic.  "What do you mean by that?"  "Well,"  Began 
Streekz, "I'll tell you, but later." He continued, "But first 
let me show you a little surprise then we'll se if can still 
crack smiles with missing teeth."  "As if," Said Sonic "you've
got some good moves but that won't stop me for long."  "Your not
faster then me or stronger then me, accually we seem pretty even."
Streekz began to laugh, "Heh heh heh, not for long," "Huh?" "You'll
see a power few can harness or evan control and this will be over
long before the missle launches."
