| Here are some pics of 1978 Pontiac Sunbird with the Formula option. History: From the factory, this car was a 2.5 liter (iron duke) 4cyl 5speed. with the Formula Graphics and spoilers and the Radial Tuned Suspension options. It will soon sport an 0ddfire 3.8 liter, 5speed drivetrain from a 1977 Olds Starfire Gt. parts car. It will likely get a set of the optional snowflake wheels. This Formula came with white rallyII style rims, which are pretty cool looking, But the snowflakes are even cooler plus there lighter to. This car is less of a show car and more of a daily driver. I'll likely mostly use it as a summertime 2nd car to keep miles from racking up on my new '06 Chevy Aveo. I'm glad to have this car, I'm partial to the pontiacs since my very first one was a sunbird. | The above pics were taken just after I bought the car in '05 and gave it a quick detailing. As of 1/1/07 the car is parked in storage, in need of cosmetic touch up again. This car isnt a total loss yet, but probably wont be a show car ever again. Just a well worn daily driver example of a pretty rare edition Pontiac Sunbird model. |
