| This H Body is a 1980 Pontiac Sunbird, with the 'coupe' bodystyle. 2.5 liter 4cyl. Automatic tranny Deluxe Cloth interior.(Dk blue) PS/PB. The car was cheap,and served as a great,cheap to own and maintain A to B car. For going to work, or going on a general errand,where where being in a fast/mint car wouldnt matter. This is the car I would take. No worries about guzzling gas, battling traffic,and crappy roads. This helps my good cars keep there low milage numbers. I found this car via, a tip from a friend. It was not too far away,but across the border in Canada. I had to basically 'import' the car,which meant 50 dollars worth of paperwork from GM vintage vehicle services. Otherwise I didnt have to do much to get this car going. I put about 20k miles on it. It always started right up and got me across town even in the worst winter weather. Eventually this car was parked at my storage facility awaiting future use. I moved it out into an open area for a few days and guess what happened? It was stolen! It was later determined that an aquaintence on hard times had stolen the car for scrap metal money. |
