| Heres a little bit about this one. I got lucky that this one became available soon after I smashed my previous monza. (see #3) The car was a project someone wanted to bail out on. It was In decent shape. It had been a Maroon V8 automatic that was getting old and beginning to rust. The owner stripped it down and added the Mirage kit. It was bondoed to the car. Not to bad of a job but it eventually cracked. The car came primered as you see it above. I added a used door from a blue monza and then spray canned the body to match. No runs or drips and pretty solid coverage, but no shine either. The car came with the wheels, rear springs from a T/A and the sidepipes you see. They were functional. Hooker 2135 headers dumped into them The car drove pretty good and I put lots and lots of miles on it, and have many many memories from it. I got this car around 1993 and had it until early 1996. Eventually I had found my red 78 spyder. and had no need for this one. I ran the 307 in it until it smoked to badly, and parked it. eventually I decided to sell it and it went across town. I'd heard of it driving around for a while then eventually I'd heard it was dismantled and a friend had retrieved the radiator and posi guts. |
