La Marcopolo Rio nasce dalla garbata insistenza di alcuni Clienti della Marcopolomansion di Rodi che desideravano un'alternativa al Mediterraneo durante l' inverno europeo e/o per conoscere Rio de Janeiro nei suoi molteplici aspetti e viverne la quotidianitá.
E' stato individuato come ideale il barrio di Copacabana, il piú rappresentativo di Rio e dove é estate tutto l'anno.
E' stato poi scelto un edificio storico a due passi del mare proprio dietro il prestigioso Copacabana Palace Hotel, dove la sicurezza degli ospiti é assicurata da oltre sei portieri che proteggono l'edificio giorno e notte, impedendo l' entrata di estranei anche se accompagnati.
Un sapiente restauro e un raffinato arredamento hanno reso funzionale e gradevole l' abitazione: spaziose camere da letto con bagno, ampio salone doppio, cucina, lavanderia.
Un cameriere serve il breakfast tropicale e provvede alla pulizia e al cambio di biancheria.

Marco Polo Rio arises from the friendly and firm entreaties of some guests of Marcopolomansion in Rhodes (Greece) who wished to have an alternative to the Mediterranean sea during the European winter and/or to have the opportunity to discover the manifold aspects of Rio de Janeiro through its daily life.
We singled out Copacabana, the most representative barrio of Rio, where it is summer all year round.
We chose an historical building in the centre of Copacabana a few steps from the seaside, just near the celebrated Copacabana Palace Hotel, where special attention is given to the guests’ safety: more than six concierges protect the building day and night, preventing the access of outsiders even if accompanied.
The apartment was made functional and agreeable through an accurate restoration and a refined interior design: spacious bedrooms with bathroom, a wide double living-room, kitchen, laundry.
A waiter serves the tropical breakfast, cleans the apartment and changes bedclothes and towels.
