Gorges du Verdon, July/August 2005 (I)
10 days of hiking, camping, drinking good (and less good) wine, eating good food, enjoying great weather, and being entertained by the VERY energetic organising team in one of the most impressive landscapes of Europe: the Gorges du Verdon in the French Provence. Some impressions...
Our hiking expert Pepijn explains the basic do's and don'ts of walking up and down the steep Gorge slopes
We spent hours and hours of climbing and descending, but just in time, there was always a nice riverside or open place in the forest to recover!
OK, this path was still quite broad and safe...we definitely had much narrower and trickier ones...
One of many great views during the ' Imbut'  hike
There was more to this trip than just mountain hikes...after all, leaving France without a good wine tasting experience would have been hard to explain back home...
