Blinding light turns me away
Running and searching
For something I can't see
I stumble and fall
Crawl into a dark corner
Preparing to die
Then I see you
You call me out of torment
Out of the hell I was feeling
Into a different kind of light
You stand before me
I reach to touch you
Could you be real
As I get closer
You fade away
I touch the glass
A reflection of my own dark face
And where were you when I died again
I waited and waited
No one came
No one cared
I saw you again
Ran to you
And embraced the heavy mist
Seeing you farther on
The guiding ghost
I follow
Faster and faster
But you vanish when I get near
I call your name and summon a ghost
To be dismised with a breath
And called again to stand before me
I try to touch your face
A statue crumbles under my shaking fingers
Gone again good ghost
To where
And why
Don't leave me yet again
To die in a maze
