Soaring orb heavenly beacon
Setting beyond death tonight
Give way to nights deliniation.
Lack of faith has set the sun
Darkness uprising
With heaven realizing
No use, this endless night has just begun.
Overtake then the planet in your grasp
The heavens themselves could not stand
A race silenced, only sound a single gasp
To be replaced and ruled by a worthy band.
This darkness reaches to the very soul
Tearing what one was, shaping spirit
Ever changing till I'm black as coal
And to the night it turns me free.
I look to what was once my home
I see family and friends enslaved
I laugh and think I might have known
The symbol of the damnded I see engraved.
My home now is turrned to ruin
The stone I saw before has cast its light
On the lone child it left to live
But to me no hope to give
Instead it struck me down in hateful spite.
I heard it echo in my head
That sound I'll never have a chance to forget
"In life, in death, in contract...
You gave your soul, your blood, your life...
And now so to hold this time honored pact...
Walk and rule in death as you aggreed..."
Now to end this terror of a night
That cannot be
No one can really stand to fight
