To Open an Account

      Opening an account will be beneficial to the customers. First you will have a lower minimum, 62.27gms, to send in even though the maximum for each batch will remain at 12 ozs, 373.24 gms.  

      As it stands right now; each batch of metal to be recycled must be a minimum of 124.41 gms and a maximum of 373.24 gms per batch. Once 60 ounces (1866.21gms) of total gold has been processed, this will render approximately 139.97 gms in payment to Marchetti & Co. This 139.97 gms of pure gold equals approximately 4.5 ounces. 

  The New benefits: 

• Minimum weight to send in will be 62.27 gm.

• The Maximum weight per batch remains at 373.24gm. 

• Reduction of percentage/fee from 7 1/2% to 5.5%.

• You will have storage space for any amount left over after making a bar or bars. For example, if you have 23.45 grams of gold left after we make your bar/bars, we will hold that for you until your next shipment and then combine to potentially make an additional bar or bars. Nevertheless, your account provides you with an option other than receiving casting shot for any amount that is less than 5 oz. This is option is at no additional cost.

There are only two ways to get an account opened. 

1)  The first way to open an account is to work with Marchetti & Co wait until we have recycled 60 ounces. This new account is automatically set up by Marchetti & Co.  In other words, once  you have reached 60 ounces, we will automatically give you the four benefits. However it will depend on how often you send in batches to process and how many batches you send in at one time. Therefore, it could take a number of months, up to years to reach the 60 ounce requirement.

2)  The second way of getting an account opened is quite simple, fast, and a better savings. A sole proprietor, LLC, or Inc can do a one-time buy-out by simply paying a fee. This fee will be in the form of 2.25 ounces pure .999 gold bar or coin, but no cash, check or credit card. The only pure gold coin or bar that will be accepted is: Credit Suisse, Canadian Maple, British, and U.S., but we will not accept any South African Krugerrands. The Canadian Maple is the most preferred but not required. This option will start immediately, upon receipt of payment, with the New Benefits active and these benefits do not expire unless you discontinue our service or cancel your account. This buy-out fee is non-refundable, once it has been paid.

• One thing to consider in making this choice is that you will not have to wait the time that it can take for Marchetti & Co to process the batches you send in order to reach the 60 ounces total.

• The buy-out fee, 2.25 ounces, is half of what Marchetti & Co will normally charge for processing your gold, which will result in approximately 4.5 ounces. And this will give you instant access the the reduced fee on all your recycling/refining needs.

      Regardless of which method you prefer to utilize for opening an account, all businesses must submit a copy, photocopy or email scan (of 300 dpi or 300 resolution) of their business license.  And must fill out this Pdf form and submit it.
