Notes

We flew these rockets with Moh and his three children. A good time was had by all.

This Star Wars Fighter belongs to Sean and this was its maiden flight.

The launch was a learning experience. First the igniter was pulled out of the engine before the countdown was complete. The countdown was repeated twice more without a successful launch. It was determined that the batteries were low in Sean's launch controller so we switched to another one.

Blastoff occurred after the next countdown and the fighter flew to a height of 50 feet or so. The fighter may be a little bit heavy.

The parachute deployed and guided the nose of the fighter to the ground, but the shock cord had burned through and the fighter's fuselage crashed to the ground in a flat spin. There appeared to be no damage as a result of the mishap.

All in all, it was a very educational flight.
