Notes

We flew these rockets with Mom, Uncle Harry, Aunt Evelyn, cousin Dianne, Jim, and Ashley. This was their first rocket flight.

This was the first flight of the Mongoose Two Stage Rocket. This is a bright yellow two stage rocket that is very light weight. It should fly fast and far. This is the third flight of the day.

The rocket launcher was pointed into the wind to minimize the downwind carry of the second stage. Jim Harry pressed the launch button after the all clear signal and countdown. The rocket took off and flew pointed into the wind. The C6-0 really sent the rocket flying, the second stage lit off perfectly so that it seemed like one continuous rocket engine. The booster stage tumbled to the ground about 25 yards in front of us. The second stage flew out of sight. We never saw it land.

Exciting flight, but the rocket was lost.
