This is to introduce my very good buddy, Pepe   He is a Bichon-Frise. He is 7 years old.  

Pepe came to live with us when he was eight weeks old. To live through puppyhood is a difficult time. You need  love and patience. But he was so cute. He needed to be trained. He chewed things. But he was so cute. Now he is middle aged and a couch potato.

So this is the story of my best friend. He has given me some tears, as in training a pup. He has given me much laughter, with the funny things he does. He makes me take a walk every day, which I wouldn't if I didn't have to take him. The walk is his most important part of his day, maybe except eating. With the type of hair he has, he needs a lot of care, with bathing, combing, brushing, cutting. I brush his teeth, cut his nails, keep his ears free from problems. But when I got him I decided that I would groom him myself which I have done. He is a very very good boy. I love my Pepe.

When you buy a puppy of any breed, find out if the breeder cares about the health of the puppies. Do they know the health record of the dogs being bred. Do they care?
