Today is a day as one that follows another. A special day is one that is celebrated for remembrance or mourned for loss. Separate your days. Look at them as pages in a book. Too often the 'pages' are turned one after another and are taken for granted. In each day there may be a special moment....or perhaps it was a busy day and there were no special moments. The specialness is that it is that day, that one day that can not be repeated. You have put your stamp on it, your way of living it and experiencing that which comes to you. People speak of the 'last of days' when it would be best to speak of the specialness of a day. What happened during that one day? How do you measure a day well spent? Is it how much work you did, how you interacted, what is your measurement of time? Take a few seconds to look at each day for it is like painting a picture. You are adding strokes each day. Is it a pretty picture? What does the day as a whole day appear to be? Be a good painter.
