Marana Ta is a temporary name for a company being founded by two members. The purpose of the company is to develop high quality amplifiers. Inspiration came from the high prize of very good, high power amplifiers. At the moment, the first amplifier is in the development stage. It will be a 500 W stereo amplifier, with extremely low distortion figures. Inputs would be available for single line and balanced line devices. Other amplifiers will follow for home (and office) use. The first amps will be based on the BJT transistor, but MOSFET designs will be available at a later stage. Oh, and you will be able to use them in bridge configurating...
The founders (thats us) have engineering degrees in electronics from the Universities of Stellenbosch and Pretoria (South Africa). The company will be based in Pretoria, South Africa.
