RK COVERS VOLUME II


Kenshin: Oro? They've sent another CD. *is trampled by the others as
they snatch for it*

Kaoru: Look, the rest of the characters have cover songs as well.
*screeches* Kami-sama! I don't believe Watsuki-sensei. He actually got
Hiruma Gohei to sing.

Sano: Well at least he made him sing "The Imposter". Shouldn't that be
consolation enough for yer, Jou-chan?

Kaoru: I suppose so. Hey, Tae-san has two songs, "Bills, Bills, Bills"
and "Pay Me". I think she's trying to tell you something Sano.

Sano: Ahh? *looks at the ceiling, a clueless expression on his face*

Yahiko: Cheapskate. *gets pummelled by Sano*

Kenshin: Maa, maa! Let's not get violent.

Saitou: You're one to talk. *points to a title*

Kenshin: ORO??! But they told me that was just a rehearsal song.

Kaoru: "#1 Assassin"?? *glares at Kenshin* And you sang under the name
Battousai??? Keeeeenshhhiiin!!

*The number one assassin of the Bakumatsu is promptly beaten to a pulp
yet again*

Sano: Oi, psycho-cop! Quit smiling. They got your rehearsal song down as
well. "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing." When I think of that harmless medicine
man act you pulled----agh! *runs from the Gatotsu*

Kaoru: *dusting her hands off* Yahiko, what are you grinning about?
What, you have a song too? *frowns* Aren't you a little young to be
singing "I'm a Man", Yahiko-CHAN?

Yahiko: Grrrrrr...

Megumi: What on earth is going on? I heard the ruckus all the way from
my apartment upstairs. *spies the CD* Oh, I didn't know there was a
second CD. Who...*scowls* What the hell? Karryu is in it singing "The
Drugs Don't Work"??? That's not funny.

Sano: You think that's bad. Look at this. They've got Anji singing "Heal
the World." Imagine that.

*Kenshin and Saitou sweatdrop*

Megumi: Well, at least this one hits the nail on the head. Remember
Mumyoui, Iwanbo and Saitsuchi? They're doing a song together called "Get
Your Freak On."

*Mass face fault*

Kaoru: *mutters* The company executives must be crazy. Look at this,
they got Fuji to do a version of "I'm Only Human."

Saitou: You think that's bad? *turns to Sano* Ahou, look at what your
friend Katsu is singing.

Sano: "Homemade Explosives"?????! Why that baka--!!

Yahiko: Hey, I didn't know Tsubame sang too. I wonder what song...*face
turns a bright red* ...s-s-s-ong...

Kenshin: What's wrong Yahiko? *reads and then turns bug-eyed. Whispers
to Kaoru* What is the meaning of this? Why would Tsubame-chan sing "Not
Such an Innocent Girl"?

Kaoru: I dunno. Some people are different once the cameras are off I guess.

Saitou: Well, there are only two more people on the track. Enishi's
right-hand man Heishin sings "I'm Number One". *shrugs* I guess he's
still sore about not heading the organisation.

Kenshin: Hey! Okina has a song by Julio Eglesias. "To All the Girls I've
Loved."

Sano: Talk about similarities. *mutters* ...... I'm sure it's not a
coincidence...

Kaoru: Well, at least that's the last of the CDs. That is, until they
ask us to do another recording......

*Doorbell rings. Kenshin reappears with a package.*

Megumi: My God, don't tell me it's another CD track.

*Kenshin stares at the label on the package, dumbfounded*

Kaoru: Mou Kenshin! What is it?

Kenshin: *in a barely audible whisper* It's a DVD with music videos of
our songs and performances......

*everyone faints*
