![]() I like music, especially the so called "classical" (with violins, pianos, orchestras, etc). I took piano lessons for several years. Once in a while I like to execute Bach. I sing in two choirs: one belongs to the "Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires" (ITBA). The other is the "vocal Caviahue". They enable me to interact with many people, some of which I hassle with my camera. Jazz: perspiration, cigarette smoke, black and white. Beatles, Queen and Lloyd Weber. |
![]() My parents introduced me to reading when I was a child. I used to spend quite a few hours in that activity. Reading had a large impact in developing my imagination. I still hold some of that imagination. |
![]() When I was +/-13 my parents gave me a semi-automatic camera with a good lens. I still have the camera and use it occassionally. While at the university I took my first photography class (it dealt with the fundamentals of black and white). I now contribute to the cutting down of of trees, to the pollution of the Rio de la Plata, and to the waste of gallons of water. I make innumerable photographic disasters in my lab. |
![]() I have always had an inkling for knowing how things work. When I was a child I used to take apart everything that could be unscrewed open. In some ways I am no longer a child, yet my need to unscrew things has not yet subsided. While I am fairly successful in putting back all the parts where they belong, once in a blue moon I find "extra" items that don't quite fit in the original packaging. It doesn't take me a long time to convince myself that they are not essential. The most complex photographic cameras are still a challenge for me. |
