We
read a another series of lies
in
the newspaper today.
Buried
in the city section,
in
any other place,
with
any other people
it
would surely be forgotten.
Our
proof that this was false
would
not titillate an eager reader
the
dismissal and vindication
we
knew would come
would
be likely buried or not reported at all.
Yet
despite the knowledge of this,
we
witnessed this lie being circulated as
fact,
and
spreading like a disease through this virtual world.
At
first we were angry, and then we remembered
we
had to be grateful
that
something that was so clearly false
had
been misstated as fact to the public and the press
by
those who now stood as our persecutors.
We
would fight it.
We
would prove it.
We
would win.
So
we held hands, and said "Thank you for the gift"
We'll
remember this day as a turning point.

Clouds
and darkness surround us,
yet
Heaven is just,
and
the day of triumph will surely come,
when
justice and truth will be vindicated.
Our
wrongs will be made right,
and
we will once more,
taste
the blessings of freedom.
