My first column will be just a random thing, my thoughts on many things, about Canada, or anything.

First off, I am not ashamed to say, I am a pro-wrestling fan, WWF, to be exact, and recently, they came to Vancouver, for a show. Now, I watched this show on my trusty T.V, damn, they were out to kill Canada. WWF is American, and everyone, who made their little speech before their match, was talking about how Canada was dumb, and we don’t understand anything. So I think next time WWF comes to our neck of the woods, they should lighten up a little bit, a little amount of derogatory comments is O.K, but damn they over did-it.

Finals were a little while ago, and damn were they hard, so I’m just gonna spew about school. I.S?? What is the point of this course?? (Mrs. Unnamed I.S Teacher, if you’re reading this… it has nothing to do with you) Why would we need to know about Philosophy and Philosophers? Does anyone see a point in this? I’m lost and I can’t get out. Social Studies, yet another pointless course, learning about history, and the only way we can use this in a career is if we are a museum tour guide, or a history teacher, if anyone sees any other uses to S.S Please e-mail me (see bottom)

You know what makes me mad? When you go to sign up for something like Hotmail, and they have a pull-down menu that states your country, and it always has the U.S.A at the top, I think that Canada is just as good as a country as the U.S.A is and should be at the top. Maybe it’s because most websites and most Internet users are American, but by my view, I think there are lots of Canadians online too. For Instance, when I am chatting, and I ask where people are from, they either say U.S.A or Canada, very rarely from anywhere else. I don’t mean to offend anyone in this paragraph, and this is just my opinion.

Canada Day was 2 days ago, and it was so cool! We saw Joe, and he delivered his speech, about not being a lumberjack, you know the commercial. It was so cool! 10 meters high, spotlights all around him, JOE was there doing the Rant, to cheers of "JOE JOE JOE JOE." Amazing, just amazing.
