| Kyle fell in love with Player as soon as he was born. He spent a couple of months convincing Lynda that he should be a "pet" llama and then started working for the neighbor to pay for him. We were in for a big disappointment when we got him home. Player didn't come to us for grain like the other llamas, even after weeks of trying. He was totally unapproachable. Well finally he just had to be worked with rather he was interested or not. We discovered after working with him, and really watching the dynamics of the herd, that he is possibly the sweetest llama we have. He gives lots of kisses and is very curious about his people and what's going on. The key is getting him away from the other boys. He is low man on the totem pole and will pretty much stay back when the other guys are around. He is hesitant about new things but extremely sweet. With a little patience this guy will be wonderful! |
