Chapter 4
�What do you want with me, and where are the others?�
�The others? You mean those traitor friends of yours.�
�Traitors? Why would they be traitors?� Lance asked
�Boy, don�t you think they would be out looking for you? Well, they aren�t because they don�t care!�
�How would you know? I don�t believe you!� Lance shouted.
�If they were looking for you don�t you think they would have found you by now?�
�Why should I even listen to you?� He heard the snap of a whip.
�Wouldn�t it be a sham if this whip just happened to whip you several times�THAT�S WHY!! And if you ask another stupid thing like that than it will happen!� Then Lance heard a door slam.
�This is going to be harder than I thought�� �the guy� thought �looks like a storms coming, when it�s over I had better make sure they don�t find him.� He smiled evilly.

�Man, when will this storm be over!� Justin shouted.
�Yeah I know, this place is starting to creep me out.� Chris stated.
�I�m sure it�ll be over in a little while.� JC said.
�I�m bored,� Joey remarked, then yawned �and tiered�
�Then go to sleep and we�ll wake you up when we can go.� Justin told him.
�Sounds like a plan to me.� Joey fell asleep and soon Chris joined him.
�Justin, if ya want you can go to sleep to ya look pretty tiered�
�You sure?� Justin yawned.
�Yeah�
�Kay, wake me up when it�s over.�
Pretty soon JC was having trouble staying awake.
�Come on JC stay awake� JC told himself, but it didn�t work.
Chapter 5
JC woke up the next morning when the sun was high in the sky, and realized he had fallen asleep and the storm had been over for hours. He began to wake up the others.
�Is the storm over already?� a very groggy Justin asked.
�Yeah, and it looks like it�s been over a few hours.� Chris said looking outside.
�Yeah, I kinda fell asleep�� JC said sheepishly.
�That�s JC for ya, can�t ever stay awake.� Chris grinned, receiving a deadly look form JC.
�Let�s just start looking for Lance.� JC said.
�And something to eat.� Joey put in.
They had been walking for a few hours with Justin and JC taking the lead and a few feet behind Chris and Joey.
�Do you think we�ll ever get of this Island?� Justin asked.
�I don�t know, but hopefully we will, with Lance.� JC said. Then Justin happened to look over to JC and noticed how he was holding his arm.
�Is there something wrong with your arm?�
�Nah, it just kinda hurts��
�Did you hurt it when we were in the cave �er somethin�?�
�Well, I�ve had it since the crash.�
�And you didn�t tell us?�
�It�s not that bad��
�Still, we�re your friends, you shoulda told us.�
***Joey and Chris***
�I�m hungry,� Joey said for the millionth time.
�Geez Joe, can you think of anything besides food?�
�Yeah�
�Like what?�
�Like trying to find Lance�
�Well, I think that the smartest thing you�ve said all day!� Chris said. Joey grinned.
�I�m hungry�
�Ugh� Chris rolled his eyes. �Don�t you find it strange that for once you are the only one joking off?�
Then Joey and Chris, whom wasn�t watching where they were going, toppled over the other two, whom had stopped.
�Hey, what�d we stop for?�

�Now, let it begin� �the guy� sneered as he picked up a whip.
�Let what begin?� Lance was almost afraid to ask.
�My experiment� He said.
�Which is?�
�Seeing how much torture you can take before you die�
***A few hours later***
When Lance woke up it was so dark he couldn�t see his hands in front of his face. He was so sore he could barley move, and the fact that it was very cold didn�t help either. He also discovered he was locked in a small room with chains holding him down.

Then they saw the reason they had stopped; a guy dressed up like an Indian was right in the middle of the path they had been on. The four Nsyncers took a step back.
�Do not fear me, I have come to help you.�
�How do we know, Why should we trust you?� Justin questioned.
The guy looked up into the sky. �A storms coming, at lest let me give you shelter.�
The guys looked up, and indeed it looked like a storm was on its way.
�All right, but we were looking for someone, too.� They said.
�Perhaps I can help when the storms over�For now, come with me. Oh, by the way my names Silent Wolf.�
�Uh, Hi my name�s JC, this is Justin, Joey, and Chris.�
�And what�s the name of the one you are looking for?�
�Lance.�
Then Silent Wolf led them into a hut.
�You can stay here until the storm passes, then we can go looking for your friend.�
�Ok, thanks.�
�It sure storms a lot here, doesn�t it?� Chris said looking outside.
�Yeah it does, and I want it to be over soon.� Justin said. The others agreed.

Silent Wolf sneered. This was going to be easier than he thought�He had them right where he wanted them. He tuned around where the person who had taken Lance was standing.
�I have made them think I�m their friend, The plans are falling right into place, Matt.�
Matt smiled. �Excellent, good job.�

Lance didn�t know how long he had been there since there was no possible way of telling the time�but he guessed that he had been in where ever he was for about an hour, until �the guy� came back.
�Look, I�m am willing to make a deal with you. I will let you go, but let me warn you, there are lot of traps that I set up. You aren�t gonna make it alive and neither will your friends. It was nice knowin� ya! Hahaha�.� Then he mysteriously vanished. The door to the room creaked open, and the chains released him.
Lance slowly, and cautiously, let the room and heard the door slam shut behind him. He made his way down the picth black corridoor. He heard something ahead of him growl, and he felt his feet slip and found himself in a pit. Then he heard something hiss. He felt something slithering around his feet. Even in the darkness he could still tell what they were. Snakes. A whole bunch of them. He had fallen into a snake filled pit. He scrambled for the edge of the pit so he could clime out, but he slipped and fell back down. He felt whit-hot pain shoot though his left leg, he had been bit. He grabbed for the edge again and pulled him self up. Lance dragged himself a few feet away, then lost conciseness.

Tap, tap, tap. Tap, tap, tap.
Justin groaned. �I�m trying to sleep here, can you stop that!�
Chris looked around. �It isn�t any of us who�s doing that��
Justin looked up. �What?�
�I said it�s not coming from in here, mabey out side.�
�Well, I�m gonna go tell it to stop so I can go back to sleep.� Justin said as he got up and went out side.
�I�ll go, too.� Chris said and got up and followed.
JC shrugged �Might as well go, too.�
�Hey, don�t leave me here!� Joey also followed.
�Hey, wait a sec. The storms over, wasn�t Silent Wolf supposed to wake us up?� Joey later pointed out.
�Hey, he�s right. Maybe he just over slept�� Chris offered.
�I don�t know, but that taping stopped.� Justin said.
�Where are we anyway?� JC asked.
The guys then noticed they were standing in front of what looked like a really, really, really old city. Joey�s jaw dropped.
�It looks exactly like the one in my dream�� He whispered.
�What?� Justin asked, but before Joey could respond the taping started again, but this time it was paced differently.
Tap�Tap��Tap�
�Grr�there�s that taping again� Justin stated.
�Do you think it could be coming from in side the city?� Joey asked.
�Yeah, maybe. What do you think, should we go into it or go back to the hut?� Chris asked.
�I think we should go into the city.� Justin said.
�Me, too. What about you Jace?� Joey asked.
No response.
�Jace?� Joey looked around, but didn�t see him anywhere.
�Hey guys, where did Jace go?� All three of them looked around, but didn�t find him.
�All right, it isn�t funny anymore. You can come out now!� Chris hollered.
Nothing happened.
�I�m serious! Come out here this instant!� He called again.
And again, nothing happened.
�Please?�
Still nothing.
�Ok we give up, come out now!!!!�
This time a bush rustled
�JC?� But it wasn�t him, a deer jumped out.
�Rats��
�Enough games come out now!!!!!!!!� He called again.
And again, all was still.
�I don�t think he�s here.� Chris said.
�What do you mean? You think that there�s someone else on this island with us that just took JC?!?!� Justin yelled.
�Well, I didn�t say that, you did. Maybe he already went into the city.� Joey said.
�Let�s see.� So they went into the city, not knowing what they where about to get them selves into�
