1 158 K.J. Rufener I computed Kathy Jo's mileage for her winning route. She traveled about 22.4 miles while navigating in the heat. She may have traveled even farther, depending on her route choice. I based the mileage estimate on her recollection of the controls she collected. She did try several times for control 64. She did not attempt controls 67, 68, 56, 62, 47 or 40 but pretty much saw the rest of the map. This confirms my guess that to get all the controls, you would have to travel at least 30 miles.
