INT. CAFE - DAY

MAOCAT, the tired Chinese American cafe worker, stands behind a counter. On the counter is a CASH REGISTER. On the other side of the counter are FIVE POTS OF COFFEE, each with a label. The labels, from left to right, are colored BLUE, MAGENTA, BLANK, GREEN, and ORANGE.

A CUSTOMER, an everyday person, walks up to the airpots.

CUSTOMER
Which one is decaf?

MAOCAT
The green label.

The Customer points to the coffee pot with the blue label.

MAOCAT
No, it's the green label.

The Customer points to the coffee pot with the orange label.

MAOCAT
The green label, it's to your left.

The Customer points to the coffee pot with the red-blue label.

MAOCAT
Look to the right. Over there.

The Customer points to the coffee pot with the blue label again.

Maocat walks around the counter and taps the coffee pot with the green label. The Customer nods his head in appreciation.

CUSTOMER
You should have it say "Decaf," it'll be easier to find.

Maocat slaps his hand against his head and grinds his teeth in frustration.

MAOCAT
Can I help the next person?

CUSTOMER #2 walks up to the counter.

CUSTOMER #2
Which one is decaf?
