His name is also romanized as:
Xi Yi / Chan Chiang Shan / Chang Chang Sam / Chang Yang Shan .
Shifu Zhang Xiang San published serveral books at his later age. The reason why he published those books was that shifu Liu Yun Chiao talked him into preserving the art in book form. The books were published more likely in the 60's.
