Shifu Paul D'Amico trained under shifu Guo Xiao Po for 15 years learning Mei Hua Tang Lang Quan, traditional weapons and Ba Ji Quan. He also trained Tai Ji Mei Hua Tang lang under shifu Ma Wei Ling.
Since 2001 he has been an assistant instructor in thai boxing under Kru Ed Advincula.
