Born in 1969, started training tang lang quan in 1986 under shifu Slawomir Milczarek.
Double bronze world medalist in free fighting in Perugia (Italy) and Silver medal in World Championships in two mens form (together with Tomasz Zelek).
Marek Borowek is the General secretary of the "Polish Praying Mantis Kung Fu Society" .
