Jo�o Nelson Gon�alves de Sousa was born in Venezuela and started training martial arts in 1985.
He graduated as black belt at the school "La Danza del Drag�n" in Venezuela where he had the chance to meet shifu Fu Song Nan and shifu Dai Shi Zhe while training under shifu Yunnys Zapata.
His family was originally from Portugal and he moved back to that country but he stays in touch with his shifu and old gong-fu brothers.
In 2003 he started teaching in Madeira (Portugal), where he teaches mostly Tang Lang Quan and weapons (and some Ba Ji Quan, Pi Gua Zhang and Tai Ji Quan ).
