Born in Yantai, Shan Dong Province. Student and only son of shifu Hao Bin.
Shifu Hao Wei Zhi, was sent to live in Shanghai with his grandfather shifu Hao Heng Lu to receive the transmission directly from him. After shifu Hao Heng Lu's death (almost 10 years later), he returned to study with his father.
Shifu Hao Wei Zhi had three children but none of them studied Tai Ji Mei Hua Tang Lang Quan to follow the Hao family tang lang tradition, therefore he taught the style to students outside of the Hao family.
Shifu Hao Wei Zhi passed away in August 1995 in his late 60's.
