Warden was an officer, who obeyed the law,
He ended up with 4 convicts, to help fight in the war.
They'd copy plans, break into safes, or fool a Kraut with cons,
Their first time out, he played his part, in one called Dumb John.
Actor was a con man, the best one in the trade,
He'd play his part in every con, he never seemed afraid.
They'd ask for any character, he could take the lead,
A fake moustache and glasses, were all the props he'd need.

Chief, he ended up in jail because of cars he stole,
But Warden got him out of there and offered him parole.
He'd been accused of murder, though it was self defence,
So taking up the Warden's offer, was just common sense.

Casino was so talented, he didn't need a key,
He'd pick the lock, open the safe, it seemed so easy.
Once he joined with Garrison, he'd pretend to be SS,
He'd try his hand at any look, he even wore a dress.

Goniff was a cat burglar, and pockets he would pick,
Nailed down items were the only things he couldn't nick.
Like a magpie he would steal any shiny stuff,
Leaving the museum he pinched a box for his Mum's snuff.
