Ode to the Lieutenant
by Georgie
Now, if you're in need of a plan
Then the Warden could well be your man
Just hand him a stick
And he'll draw a map quick
And he'll always succeed if he can

But, if his first plan goes awry
He's not going to stand idly by
No, he just won't be beat
He WILL NOT take defeat
He'll go back, and give it one more try

Sometimes he'll pretend not to look
If his men don't quite play by the book
If they get the job done
Then he lets them have fun
S'long as they 'put back what they took'!

To his own personal danger he's blind
And he won't leave a teammate behind
He's the man of my dreams
With his capers and schemes
'Cos he's loyal, and he's fair, and he's kind

"Take off," you will oft hear him say
And his men nearly always obey
But, if they make him cross
Then he shows them who's boss
With a stern "Don't pull that bonehead play."

Now, Garrison sure loves a con
And his acting is second to none
When he's dressed as a Kraut
He barks sharp orders out
And he has them all fooled (Nice one, Ron!)

But, when the war's over he should
Consider becoming a hood
It takes some believin'
But he's expert at thievin'
In that 'Crimewave' he sure was quite good!

Now, around the bush I will not skirt
And I hope you won't think me a flirt
But, oh my God, please
I go weak at the knees
Every time that I see him 'sans shirt'!

Yes, the Warden's 'our hero'...it's true
And so , heartfelt thanks are now due
To the brilliant young actor
With the 'Garrison' factor'
Mr H, you're the best...we love you!!

The end
