Commanders
Commander Terry Vaughn
Mansel:
Just a cool guy to be around.  He could command the ship wonderfully in Mansel's absence and be right at home.  That's why he was able to complete the standard seven year mission with the Explorer.  He was a natural born starship commander, and it flourished by watching Mansel do his thing.  He reminds me too much of Riker from Star Trek sometimes.
Brungess
: Its Captain Mansel's right arm really.  Extremely resourceful.  He is the typical Executive officer and much more.

Commander Lisa Hayes
Mansel:
A workaholic much comparable to my own Lieutenant Talaj.  And such bad breath...ugh.
Brungess:
Gots the body, the brains, and has the need.  She is without a doubt a Stealthlon crew member.   Like any other crew of the Stealthlon, her name conjurs up of course her, but the Stealthlon can clearly be seen behind her.  Its funny to see the relationship she shares with Ordese and Kain.

Commander Grant DaNastie

Mansel:
Brungess:
The best fighter pilot ever featured in a UNSF story.  Not a "Maverick" kinda pilot but shares a common trait among all fighter pilot, very egotistical and arrogant.   But he is as dreadfully clever at art of the satirical conversation as he is with being a fighter pilot.  Or so he claims.  It is a joy to right as him.   He is completely shameless.

Commander Skip Taylor
Mansel:
Simply a brilliant pilot. Taylor's secret was, he wasn't even a skilled pilot, he was a thinker.  He outthought his way out of a lot of dogfights he got himself into.  He had good strategical thinker, both on the the ground and in the air.
Brungess:
Perhaps the only rival DaNastie ever had as a fighter pilot.  He was an awsome leader to his squadmates too.   Also quite dashingly cunning and charming.   Alot of the times his adversaries turn out to be of his caliber so the fights are always so close I can't tell if Taylor will win or lose sometimes.  But he is among the best, never doubt him.

Commander Clifton Martin
Mansel:
Always a somewhat shady and secretive guy.  He did his job with a sort of reluctance.  Since he was forced to go into the UNSF by his parents, he has no love for the military in general.
Brungess
:   A twig wearing two magnifying glass lenses as glasses at first appearence.  He is always the skeptic of any plan that deals with Combat.

Commander Crystal Martin

Mansel:
A strong and independent woman.  I liked writing with her because there was nothing I had to hold back.  If there's something she wanted to say, it got said.  This caused somewhat of a conflict between her and Mansel, because Mansel wasn't used to having his orders constantly questioned.  It forced me to force Mansel to change his command style somewhat.  And the real Crystal Martin is a hottie, too.
Brungess
:  Very opinionated, takes no crap from anyone unless shown she is wrong, which is not often.  Very much like Clifton in the mind.  Cute to look at though.

Lieutenant Colonel Eric Meelan
Mansel:
Brungess:
Absolutely trust worthy, honest, and sometimes gullable.   He is a hero in his own right.  Very much like he is in real life.  He won't back down when a friend is threatened.  And if he sees something that needs to be done and no one else is doin or is unwilling to do it then he will do it himself.
