LIFE AFTER SCHOOL

It's only when you're on your own
With no-one to talk to, and nothing to do
You see your future, you're all alone
Isolated like a beast in a zoo
No-one to care and no-one to look out for you
You ain't got no-one to help you or watch your back
Your escape routes are sealed with glue
Your windows are boarded you only see black
The electric runs out and you can't afford more
The hot water turns cold when the bath's half full
You resort to stealing from the local grocery store
And now you wish you'd tried at school
But it's too late now and you get what you're given
And that broken mirror is impossible to mend
But I guess I deserve this life that I'm living
I just wish it would hurry up and end
