The 300 years art of Parchment craft, to my knowledge it was first performed by the Carmelite nuns in Spain and introduced by the first missionaries 100 years later to South America.
Different varieties were adopted by all of South America however the basic methodology after many years remains unchanged.
The art helps develop mental stimulation and patience as well as improving personal creativity.
The principle virtue , resides in neat work, patience, and a lot of love.
