Yesterday I got my paycheck, so as I planned, I began to head up to the auto repair shop to have some minor things done with my car. Unfortunatly, as always, I began to have worse car problems. I think my transmission went on my on the way up there, but I'm not completely sure if it was that or the serpentine belts. Only a diagnostic will show, and they were suppose to run that today (so I could tally up the "damage" and see how much it would cost to have repaired). I swear, waiting for a phone call like that is like waiting to here if your son is going to be ok in the emergency room.
They didn't get to my car today :-(.
So, I am here all weekend, car-less. I work tomorrow 6am - 6pm, and since my vehicle is my job, also...I'll have to borrow one of my parents' vehicles.
I never seem to have any good luck with vehicles, and I just don't understand why...
Other than that, nothing much else has happened.
A friend of mine and his g/f (well, ex) broke up this weekend. On the one hand, that is obviously a sad event (to the couple). But, on the other...
Anyway, on a much lighter note, um...actually I've got nothing, heh.
I'm sure there's a "silver lining" somewhere...I'll find it to be sure, so don't worry.
