Seriously though, I'm excited. I can't wait until tomorrow, although I can't wait until later today (Christmas Eve) either. Having most of my family from all over the state at my house playing games, sharing stories/memories, is the best. Exchanging presents isn't bad either :-).
I went to bed last night (or should I say this morning) aroun 4 am. I was doing last minute cleaning and wrapping of presents in preparation for today. I know, by the time indicated on the main page, it is only 8 am now. That is correct. Work tried calling me on my cell TWICE. I hate to say it, but they are S.O.L. I put in for this time off 2 months ago, and I'm not answering my phone if someone there decided to leave them short at the last minute :-D. Don't worry, I'm not required to come in just because they call me, I am most definately not getting paid enough to be on call 24/7.
I'm just trying to fall back asleep, so I decided to update this. I would really like to get a GameCube for Christmas tomorrow morning. It's inexpensive and it would be the first new gaming console I'd have gotten since my PSOne years ago. I'm a bit behind the times.
And even if I don't, I'm sure what I will get will be awesome.
Oh, and I am (most hopefully) getting a laptop this coming week. I have finally saved up enough for one. I had a critical decision to make though; My car needs a new exhaust system, more specifically, a Catalytic Converter. It has been acting (for the last month or two) like it just doesn't have a lot of get up and go. I had to decide whether to get the exhaust system fixed now and hopefully be done with my car problems for awhile, or seize the opportunity now and buy a laptop, and go only 2 more weeks with the car in its present state until I get my next check. I think my choice was clear :-D.
Everytime I save up enough money to get something I really need/want, something comes up and my money is gone again. Not this time, no sir. I'm throwing caution to the wind, and buying now while the gettin's good.
And not to mention my car can go another 2 weeks without "get up and go."
Well, I'm starting to feel a little sleepy, so I'm going to try to get some rest before people start arriving. I love food...hehe, anywho...
