| I told myself I wouldn't cry, What good did that do? Saying that was just a lie, I felt like I was losing you. You asked me what I was thinking, I told you I didn't know. Truth was my heart was sinking, Never have I felt so low. I didn't want you to see, this pain in my heart. You mean the world to me, though we are far apart. There were nights I'd have dreams, ones filled with joy and hope. So far away now it seems, but they'd help me cope. I dreamt of you on your wedding day, walking down the aisle. Flowers blooming in the air of May, you wearing a smile. The groom was dressed and neat, he waited so long to have you. You both said your vows, and I said, "I do." Don't think of you and I, as no longer being friends. I will always try, to be there in the end. So even though I'm crying, do not feel bad. The part of me that's dying, is just me feeling sad. May the Lord bless your life, in all that you seek. Guide you through any strife, and pick you up when you are weak. Whenever I should see a shooting star, I will always think of thee. and though apart, no matter how far,, I'll wish you think of me.. |
