Saturday we went to the park and played frisbee and football and such. Kelly's van broke down so we had a nice 3.3 mile hike to Cody's house, heh. It was just a dead battery, so we went to Wal*mart to fix that. Played video games, watched movies, hung out, went to George House, played hide and seek in the dark, and all sorts of things. I was surprised we didn't go to the waffle house, heh, but ah well.
Sunday went to church, then hung out for a short while before me and Kelly (and her brother Ryan) had to go back home.
All in all, it was nice.
My vacation is now over :-( but it was great while it lasted, and at least I'm back on days.
I work tomorrow 5-9:30. Not too bad. I have a lot of hours this week so I'm happy.
I'm gonna try (once again) to lose weight, but I'm not gonna plunge right into a "diet" so to speak. I'm going to drink TONS of water. Water is the key, and I will lose weight slowly but surely using this method. I just have to monitor what I eat and drink, and just drink lots of water.
You know, I've always said that just because we (us "little guys" who can't get girls) sit on the sidelines doesn't mean we don't watch the game. I have also, however, recently come across an interesting quote from a favorite TV show of mine...
(Odo [a man who finally found a woman who loved him for who he was, not what he looked like or where he came from] and Kira Nerys are lovers in this episode, and in this part, Odo and Kira have just made up after their first lover's spat)
Odo -lovingly smiling at Kira-: "You know, Nerys, observing (human) relationships and being in one are two completely different things"
Kira -smiling back and kissing his forehead-: "Like night and day."
