Our chapter was founded after the friend, Dr. Emanuel Simon Lippman. In his life he was a pediatrician, father and friend. When he went to work he would wear a Bowtie that would completely clash with his shirt so that when he would give his patients a shot they would be distracted from the pain by his color choices. In 1963 the chapter of Dr. Emanuel Simon Lippman AZA #1497 was born and is still going strong today.
