The Srgp Package was not available during the time I studied Computer Graphics as a part of my course, so I decided that it should not be the same case for my juniors. So I have developed the Srgp Package, a part of it at least. This Srgp Package consists of about 53 Programming Elements. The Srgp Package available on this site is free of cost and please do not pay in any form for this version and all other future versions created by me. There may be other Srgp Packages, created by others, available at some price or free of cost. Please feel free to contact me, regarding Srgp Package, by e-mail. You can send in your reviews and good wishes to me by e-mail. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: There are NO warranties expressed or implied. Manish Kapoor or anyone associated with the development of this software will NOT be held liable for any special, consequential, incidental, indirect, or similar (or of any sort of) damages due to the loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or any other reason. By using this Srgp Package you are agreeing to these terms. If these terms are not agreeable, then do not use this Srgp Package. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to Install the Srgp Package V2.1: Download the srgp_package_v21.zip file, unzip it, and run the "srgp_package_v21.exe" Self-Extractor file. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Download the File From Here: File Name: "srgp_package_v21.zip"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to Use the Srgp Package V2.1: 1)Using this package is very simple. All you have to do is just include the "srgp.h" file in your c or c++ files just the same way you include "iostream.h" or "stdio.h" files in c/c++. Example: #include or #include"srgp.h" 2)Next, you use one of the four functions given below according to your current working path, i.e., the directory you are working in currently. This (Working) path can be known by going to the File, then Change Dir option. 3)The four functions are : i) SRGP_init_c_tc_bin(); ii) SRGP_init_c_tc(); iii) SRGP_init_d_tc_bin(); iv) SRGP_init_d_tc();
v) For any other path follow
the two steps given below: You have to write any one out of the four init functions in place of your initgraph() function. Also you do not need to declare the gd (graphics driver) and gm (graphics mode) variables as in your c/c++ graphics. However you have to use the old main() function just the same way as in c/c++, i.e., your starting function has to be main() function. The rest of the procedure is same as that of c/c++ programs. Please also note that by including the "srgp.h" header file you do not need to include "iostream.h", "conio.h", "math.h" and "graphics.h" header files seperately as these have been included in the "srgp.h" header file. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updating from Version
V1.0 and V2.0 to V2.1: Users that are updating from version 2.0 (or earlier) need just install the application, and the old srgp.h header file (of Version V2.0 or lower) will be replaced by the new srgp.h header file (of Version V2.1). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Changes of Version 2.1 from the earlier Versions 1.0 and 2.0: The following changes have been made in Version
2.1 from Versions 1.0 and 2.0:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How To Uninstall The Srgp Package V2.1:
Step 1: Firstly, Uninstall the SRGP Package V2.1 from, either the SRGP Package menu in the Programs in the Start Menu, Or From the Add and Remove Programs in the Control Panel. Step 2: Secondly, Delete "srgp.h" header file in the "x:\tc:\include" or "x:\tc" path, where "x:" represents any drive ("c:" to "j:" as these eight drives are supported by this Package).
Only these two steps and are needed to uninstall the Srgp Package. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last Notes: Only one thing is left now- I will keep updating the Srgp Package during its course of development. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ENJOY USING THE SRGP PACKAGE V2.1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
