On November 25, Thanksgiving Daay, The Manipur Field Trip celebrated American Thanksgiving with a baseball game at the Eastern Grounds and a Turkey Thanksgiving Dinner in the evening..

The baseball game was the culmination of a series of Mike and Somi's baseball interactions that included the presentation of baseballs, and rulebooks, a tour of a potential baseball field, and the screening of baseball films.

The turkey dinner was our return dinner invitation to all the Manipuri hosts who had so kindly invited us to their homes for our meals during the Field Trip.. Frozen turkeys, cranberry sauce, stuffing and traditional decorations were brought in. Zette and her class baked for the occasion.  No references were made to clueless pilgrims and dubious Indians.
