Jesus Holds Baby Hope...
By: Henry Handorf
To: Melanie
Where has my baby gone,
Is she somewhere all alone?

Tell me now, I must know,
Where did my baby go?

Listen my child and she will tell,
She is doing very well,

Jesus holds me in his arms,
I will never know pain,
Never know harm.

My eyes that were closed are now open wide,
Seeing all of heaven from inside.

The heart that stopped now beats with Love,
As I watch from above.

My hands, my feet they all work right,
I hug the master everynight.

The things I say are no lie,
The Master did not die,
I am here now,
I see his face,
Someday I'll see you,
When you come to this place.

With Love,
Henry Handorf

In Memory of: Hope Nicole Handorf
Born and Died: July 6th 1995

Hope Nicole Handorf was born premature... (I was 5 & 1/2 months pregnant when she was born.)
She only lived for 3 hours...
But the Love I have for her will live on forever!
Back to Poetry & Lyrics ...
Hope weighed 1 lb. 2 oz. when she was born... you could actually hold this baby in the palm of your hand...
Her skin was so thin you could see through it... you could see the muscles in her legs...
Her lungs were not fully developed... her eyes were sealed closed.
