Blaze has been in tha rap game for many years now. From his early beginnings in his previous group "2 Krazy Devils" which consisted of Blaze himself and Skrapz of Level Jumpers. Blaze was then known as Psycho C and Skrapz was known as Krazie. The group had tha production of Twiztids former rap partner R.O.C. 2 Krazy Devils neva really evolved and soon became known as "Tha Sleepwalkaz."Blaze's name switched to Tha Sandman.
Tha Sleepwalkaz much like 2 Krazy Devils neva really went newhere and tha group was forced to split up. Skrapz went on to do another project with tha R.O.C and Blaze went on to hookup with Twiztid and form I.S.I. I.S.I. neva really did much, a few tracks were recorded by tha group but when Violent J of tha Insane Clown Posse approached Twiztid for a record deal on Psychopathic Records they gladly took tha offer. This was after tha fact that I.S.I. as recording artist were pretty much done with and basically had just become a crew of homeboys from tha 7 Mile (Twiztids neighborhood)
Blaze kept doin his thing underground until Twiztid was able to offer him a solo career on Psychopathic. Blaze excepted and was soon on his way to underground stardom. He recorded his first album on Psy. which was self-titled. Blaze has tha sound of an old school hardcore ruthless street thug from tha early `90'z. Blaze'z next album was his first length LP called "1 Less G In Tha Hood". This release was a lil more experimental in Blaze'z sound. Some guitar was thrown in tha mix but all in tha entire album still stayed true to tha "gangsta" image Blaze has created. Blaze has yet to record his 3rd release which is in tha works as of now.
A few other side notes about Blaze are that him and label made Anybody Killa are very close friends, and ABK has sung backup for Blaze at numerous live shows.
Blaze was workin for a dope man for a couple years. Ova theses years, he met some homies like ABK. He was runnin high numbers and it seemed that shit couldn't go wrong. Tha day was Feb 14 1989. Blaze, at tha age of 24, makin a routine dope drop at a wealthier buyer's neighborhood. While he was going walkin, some guys in ski masks fired away at Blaze. The result: 3 shots to tha chest from a 45 Caliber and a shot to tha head wit a 9 Millimeter. Dead in tha grave at 24.
11 years later, Twiztied went to Blaze'z grave and took him put of his eternal rest to rap for Psychopathic. He released and EP in 2000 which didn't sell well. Blaze left Psychopathic because he wasn't makin tha money he felt he should have been. He came back eventually after thinkin about what he was missin out on...tha fuckin JUGGALO FAMILY. So Blaze jumped on tha FreekShow and Bizzar Bizzar tours which helped his CD sales.
In 2001, Blaze released tha "1 Less G In Tha Hood" LP which was a big hit with tha Juggalo's. It is one of the Psychopathic's best works, and tha good thing is that they kept only Psychopthic artists on tha album. Blaze hit up tha Mirror\rorriM tour wit ABK. then left soon afta to work on ABK'z upcoming album "Foo-Dang!" Now, Blaze is currently recording with ABK for ABK'z new album as well as his own. Blaze'z journey continues to grow. |

Blaze was born and raised in Mt. Clemens, MI, just outside of Detroit, where he lived in a one bedroom apartment with his 5 brothers and sister until tha age of 12. Eva since Blaze was a child, he had big dreams of leaving home, and pursuing tha life his family taught him neva to follow. At tha rip old age of 12, Blaze set out to become, not just any thug, but tha most feared muthafucka to eva walk tha steets. In no time Blaze hooked up wit a local Dope man (which will remain anonymous of course) and found himself emplyed, workin in a dope house, deep in tha heart of Detroit. Through tha year Blaze stacked some cheddar and by tha time he was 16, he was livin Ghetto Fabulous, with his own ride, his own pistol, and his own dope spot. Now this might be hard to believe, but Blaze continued his shit jumping, and he would even trade sacks for TV's, VCR's, etc. One day this bas head brought some studioo equipment into Blaze'z spot, lookin to swap it from some blow. Tha transaction was made, and Blaze slowly began to experiment with music. He recored a few tracks and dubbed them to make cassette, and would sell them straight out of his trunk for $5 each. As a matter of fact, Blaze later met ABK while he was slanging one of these very dub taps in question. Unfortunately everything in Blaze'z life came to a screeching hault in April of 1992 when he feel from victim to and act of heinous gang violence. On a routine drop off, to one of his higher priced customers on tha west side, Blaze was attacked by 4 young muthafucka'z wearing ski masks. Tha outcome was 3 shots, point blank in tha chest from a 45 Caliber gun. and tha final, and instantly fatal blast, from a 9 Millimeter handgun to tha left side of his head. Blaze'z body was buried in tha Ridgemont Cemetery where he remiained for 6 long years, beneath tha dirt, until he was summoned by tha Lotus, and was given 2nd life. Through tha powers of tha Dark Carnival, bestowed to tha Lotus, Blaze was given a new spirit. Now, he's not actually alive, but he can't die. So where does a dead man call home, after he has just crawled froma hold in tha earth? Psychopathic Records of course! They don't call it tha home of tha Wicked Shit for nothing. Blaze quickly learned how to walk and talk again (keep in mind that he had laid silently, in tha same position for 6 yars, and was more than a lil stiff) and in no time was spittin' raps behind tha mic again. Blaze Ya Dead Homie debuted in 1998, with labelmates Twiztid on their Mostasteless release, and later dropped and EP of his very own, which deputed at tha Gathering of tha Juggalos on July 21st, 2000. Blaze has since been featured on Twizti'd FreekShow album and even released his first eva solo album on October 31st, 2001, entitles 1 Less G In Tha Hood, which has sold ova 80 thousand copies to date. All of tha credit for tha sales goes to tha Juggalo'z, who seem to have embraced Blaze and thug antics, into their hearts and into tha eva growing Juggalo world. Featured on tha "Mostasteless - Re-Issue" in tha tracks "Whatthafuck?" and "Hound Dogs" which made him tha 6th memeber of tha Psychopathic Rydas and tha 5th member of Dark Lotus and also his debut, self titled album "BLAZE YA DEAD HOMIE". Blaze also released his first full length album "1 Less G In Tha Hood" on tha hatchet just a short while ago. Blaze intends to stay with tha hatchetman for life! |
