My love is strong my love is pure

My love is strong my love is pure,

Although it makes me wonder if I’m sure.

For every time I’ve shown my desires,

The ones I’ve loved turned out to be liars.

I’ve loved them with all my heart,

But in the end they tore it all apart.

I’ve given and taken second chances,

But when I’ve cried they gave me no glances.

In the beginning the ones I’ve loved seemed so engaging,

As time went on their colors started changing.

Throughout the years they have fooled me very well,

For now I realize they laughed as I fell.

My love is like a wilting rose,

It grows weaker everyday I suppose.

Why have they treated me in such a savage way,

For when they cried I was there everyday.

How do they live knowing my pain was their cause,

How can they walk past me without even a pause.

I’ve always wanted to be treated with great respect,

But instead I’ve received tremendous neglect.

One day I hope to end this fight,

That one day will come when my true love is in sight.

This poem is dedicated to all the girls that I have dated

If you are reading this parts of this may not be about you.

All my love,

Robert
