Family: Mother, Father, Older brother, Younger sister.
Special Skills: Only happens when he gets really worked up or frightened, but a snakelike creature resembling something of a Chinese Dragon made from electricity will appear out of his right palm. Its size and strength all depend upon his state of mind and the distress of the situation. Most of the time its nothing more than a brief spark or crackle that dies out quickly.
Place Born: Ottawa, Ontario. Canada.
Lives Now: When Lyels father was offered a Vice Presidency in Tokyo, he took it, bringing his family along with him. While mother and siblings resented it, Lyel loved the place and adapted rather nicely in his new home. Though, perhaps adapt is not quite the phrase to use for how Lyel settled in. . . The family lives in a well sized home, denoting status and wealth.
Crush/Boyfriend/Girlfriend: A wide range and variety have come and gone, best to ask on a day to day basis.
Appearance: A healthy, vivacious boy with a tiny spry build standing only 5'2". Slim, lithe, graceful, his form is quite nimble and dexterous. Possesses fine and delicate features which do not simply border the line between femininity and masculinity, or simply obscure, they completely eradicate such a division. There is nothing wholly feminine or masculine to Lyel, simply an androgynous beauty that demands a questing second look. Glossy black hair, with such a luster to it that in certain lights it appears a midnight shade of blue. Cropped thick and short, though without much other style, simply left to take wildly to the wind. Bright and jubilant eyes are coloured a deep reddish brown and framed by thick lashes. Upon his lovely face, there is almost always a laughing smile. The clothing that he wears is as odd as Lyels personality tends to be. Abhorring dark colours, his attire consists of many bright and vibrant dyes. Most of the time, Lyel designs his own clothing, thus the cut and wear of them is often themed and rather shocking.
Personality: Just as totally audacious and bold as his clothes, Lyel tends to be exuberant and as lively as any five-year-old. And just as stubborn too. If theres something that catches Lyels fancy, hes not about to give it up. During these times the words No! and Get lost, dont seem to register as well as they would any other day. So he can be rather possessive and clingy, at least until something better comes along. Hes rather blase about a lot of things, taking whatever comes to him with a cheerful and cynical point of view. Nothing really slows him down or makes him pause, he feels the need to be active, to be up and about all the time. Tends to be rather curt to members of the opposite sex, saying what he needs to and then dismissing or ignoring them. Overall though, he is a bundle full of energy waiting to explode. Even when merely talking, he tends to make a number of wild hand and body movements. Lifes too short to stand still and watch it go by.
History: Although from a wealthy family, Lyel was never a spoiled child. He could be made happy simply by finding several bits of scrap fabric in the bargain bin or given some cheesy and shiny trinket. His immediate family is rather close knit, they are loving and caring and supportive. Only Lyels brother gives him any hassle on his dress and manner. Of course, with Lyels personality, he simply takes it in stride and teases in retaliation. With such a decent and wonderful upbringing, no ones quite sure as to how Lyels personality got so strange. There really isnt anything to constitute such bizarre actions as dancing on the roof, opposing the colour black at every turn, or bolting head first into strangers as a way to meet them. It wasnt the move from one continent to another, although it does seem to have made him bolder.
